I agree with K. Shadows. I had know that she existed but it wasn't until I watched 'Stay Alive' that I began to research her and I read the well known book about her 'The Blood Countess'.

I recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in Elizabeth Bathory.

The movie 'Stay Alive' is practically based on her. Ever since I saw that movie a few years ago I have been interested in her. Yes, this article was biased, but it was very well written and I learned I lot more about her than I did from anywhere else. Well done.

"...many people, all of which hideously worshiped the devil himself."

i honestly hope that's just your opinion. even though you said that's how those people were viewed as back then. doesn't connect. and almost all of this was additive. can't know a persons' mind unless you lived in that time.

and i thought it was just her servants.

I actually have done research on this woman for a project of mine about two years ago and she was true serial killer. I actually consider her to be much more "vampiric" than Vlad Tepes, aka Vlad the Impaler. I do agree with some previous commenters, you seem a little bias and repetive, but it was still pretty informative.

The White Dahlia, from my research, she did do it for pleasure. She and Vlad the Impaler enjoyed these killings. Heck, Vlad would have dinner with the dead. The Iron Maiden was supposedly built for her use to have a literal blood shower.

v. Hitler killed 6 million Jews. And 6-8 million people of other racial background.

It was detailed and it's clear you placed a lot of effort into it. I enjoyed the information, but a few set backs were the repetition. The fact that it is biased is fine, but the way you presented it was a bit excessive.

Way too much bias in this article, it's almost rediculous.
Spell check is our friend. I caught one early in the article. "Vain," not "vein"
I've seen a documentary about this woman, and you're... way off. The people she killed? They were her servants. Why she did it? She thought their blood would keep her beauty-- when she drank blood, her skin flushed with the blood so she acquated that with youth. But she didn't do it just to entertain herself, hardly! People think she had an iron defiency, hence her wanting more blood after one killing. I'm not trying to downplay the fact that she killed so many people so that she could stay beautiful, just don't slash at her with horrific misinformation

There is a lot of bias in this article. Though I think everyone can agree that Bathory was a sick woman, you constantly repeat that and it's really freakin' annoying. And like skysters said, you repeat words way too much.

Still a decent article, though.

Truly an interesting article , however as much as I hate to I find that I have to point out that you constantly repeat yourself in your wording ...for example within not even two sentences you used the word cruel basically three times. You used Cruelest three times and cruel once which basically makes it sound like your overkilling the whole “Cruel bit” Since you also use the words twisted ,sick with disgusting. No ones prefect with grammar or anything by all means but thats a whole lot of cruel there and I think readers get your point the first time they read the word.

“Three metal claws attacked to the end of a whip, something even the cruelest of men threw to the side, all for the fact that it was a sick, twisted, cruel and terribly disgusting. Her husband left it behind as he went back into the war, hoping that it wouldn't be used for the whole fact of it being one of the cruelest devices he had ever seen,”he had ever seen, and this man was one of the cruelest of his time.

“Making this act much more fun for Bathory, as she forced her victims to shed their blood,”
I hope you never put that in an essay since we have no true idea what anyone from the 1600s actually felt or thought. Theres a lot of one sided opinion through out the paragraphs , and while I'm not saying any of its untrue or anything , theres no reference to documented journals by them or anything that can confirm what they felt when they did anything. I must totally agree with Sheepy on that.
