Liam Hemsworth

Liam Hemsworth is a young, up and coming actor who is best known for his role as Gale Hawthorne in the new hit film, The Hunger Games, which is an adaptation of the popular book by the same name. Though Liam’s career took off after his role as Gale, it is not where his career began.

Before The Hunger Games, Liam had guest roles on Home and Away and McLeod’s Daughters, which were very minor. Liam had his first recurring role in an Australian soap opera, Neighbours, where he played a paraplegic athlete. After Neighbours, Liam had many more small roles in television shows.

Liam’s first role in a major American film was in Last Song, where he costarred with his current girlfriend, Miley Cyrus. After Last Song, Liam didn’t appear in any more films until the release of The Hunger Games, but after that his career began taking off. It appears as though his part as Gale really caught the eyes of many directors and producers as he landed a role in Expendables 2, where stars alongside many famous actors, such as Chuck Norris, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, and Jason Statham. Liam is also set to star in many more upcoming films, including Empire State, Paranoia, and Arabian Nights.
