TVXQ

TVXQ (known as DBSK in South Korea) is a pop group formed under SM Entertainment that had debuted in 2003. When they first started out, there were five members in total until three of them filed for an injunction against SM in July of 2009. This resulted in a two year hiatus for the boy band and a stop to public activities throughout the time being. When TVXQ did return, it only consisted of a duo with leader, U-Know Yunho and band mate Max Changmin. With that, the release of their fifth Korean album Keep Your Head Down ranked number one on music billboard charts after a few weeks. Since their comeback, TVXQ has sold more than 2 million copies in Korean album sales and Japanese singles.

Taking on the title as "King of K-Pop" TVXQ is the best selling K-Pop group in the world. With a release of over twenty Korean and Japanese singles (as well as six albums), they've sold more than 12 million copies altogether.

Currently, TVXQ is on their first promotional world tour for their sixth Korean album and with this, they will also promote their sixth Japanese album, Time.

Against his contributions to TVXQ, Changmin had also constructed a few solo projects such as writing the lyrics to "Love in the Ice" for the group's fourth Korean album, Mirotic. After the two year hiatus, Changmin also wrote the lyrics for "I Swear" for TVXQ's sixth Korean album Catch Me. In April of 2013, he wrote the songs "Sleepless Nights" for fellow SM group, SHINee.
