Breaking Dawn To Be Made Into A Film

Breaking Dawn To Be Made Into A Film Yesterday, it was announced that Breaking dawn the forth and final book in the Twilight series is to be made into a film. Initially, the author of the series Stephenie Meyer was unsure that it could be made into a film, saying that it would have to be split into two movies because, "it's hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes. The book is just so long! I can't imagine how to distill it - if I could, the book would be shorter," But Robert Pattinson, who plays sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the films announced on may 26th that he had signed a contract to reprise the role for the final adaptation.

The book is set into three parts or 'books'. The first being in main character Bella Swan/Cullen's point of view. Going through her and Edward's wedding and their honeymoon, until the point that Bella realizes that she is pregnant, and that her pregnancy is dramatically accelerated. It then jumps to Jacob Black's point of view when Bella and Edward return home. Jacob, who is Bella's 'long suffering best friend' and also a werewolf tries to convince Bella to get rid of the baby, knowing that it is slowly killing her. When she refuses to, he sticks with her during the accelerated pregnancy. When Bella gives birth to her daughter, Renesmee, and is changed into a vampire to save her, it flips back to her point of view.

Although some scenes in the book are graphic, and it generally received bad reviews upon its release, most fans of the series are excited to hear that it is to become a film. Renesmee grows at a shocking speed, and is amazingly forward, highlighting another of Meyers' concerns for the film possibility she stated: "It would be impossible to film Renesmee. An actress could not play her because she is a baby but has complete awareness, and the one thing I've never seen is a CGI human being who truly looks real," but then goes on to say, "they develop amazing new technologies everyday, and we've got a little time left."

The cast are currently finishing the filming for the second film 'New Moon' and are set to straight away start filming 'Eclipse' the third. Before having a small break, then returning to start on 'Breaking Dawn'.
