They are not sell outs. They are doing what they like, how they like it. People should be happy they still are playing music. And of course they do some of it for money. They do have houses and tummies to fill.

All bands are in it for the money.
They have to make a living somehow, don't they? So that statement about them no longer being in it for the music but for the fame and money is incorrect because every band is in it for the money to a certain extent.

I think poeple are calling All Time Low sellouts because they don't favor the new album. And personally, they should grow up. Just with Fall Out Boy. They changed their sound and some people hated it so they called them sell outs. The band wanted to try new things. Neither band are sell outs.

Most bands get called "Sell Outs" at some point. People tend to generalize the term so that whenever a band changes it's sound, or has a couple up tempo songs, they are automatically labeled as a "Sell Out". The term is thrown around a lot and people make it into a problem.

I love ATL's new album, I think it's amazing.

Although, their old stuff was so much better.

I really agree with you on this....it seems like their music has turned from something amazing and heartfelt to something of pop variety for a bunch of preppy, screaming girl fans

She's not somparing their sounds. She doesn't think either are sell-outs.
She's stating that ATL are being accused of "selling out" because they are growing more popular, just as FOB was. She loves and is obsesed with All Time Low. I would know, I'm her best friend.

I think that both bands have matured as they've grown, and they change their music to match with their maturity. Do people really want to hear a nearly 30 year old Pete Wentz attempt screamo and write about how he much he hates an ex-girlfriend?
I adore both bands, and have seen them both live; Fall Out Boy twice. I personally did not like IOH as much as TTTYG, but ATL have done marvels with SWIR and NP, and I do not think they're selling out.
They're maturing.
It's different,

You obviously do not like All Time Low. They do have similarities with Fall Out Boy, but they are the same style of rock. All Time Low and Fall Out Boy do not sound alike. If you are jealous of their success, make your own rock band.

All Time Low is NOT selling out, nor has Fall Out Boy ever.
What makes you say they're not in it for the music? Of course they are! If they weren't, they wouldn't put so much effort into their music. They wouldn't care about the fans as much as they do. And they care A LOT. Have you gone to either of the bands' concerts before? They CONNECT with EVERY SINGLE PERSON in that audience! They do nothing but smile and laugh.
As for Fall Out Boy? Wow. They probably don't even know what selling out is. They've done nothing but proved their love for us in the past, and we do so in return.

Hollywood;, actually, 'do' makes absolutely no sense. Unless you were taught to pair plural verbs with singular subjects in school, I don't know why you think that way. A proper noun, such as "All Time Low", replaces the more vague noun, "band". "Band" is singular. Therefore, "All Time Low" is singular.

Don't be fooled by plural band names. They're still singular nouns.

P.S. The whole "do" or "does" isn't a big thing when you really think of it. Just the proper title thing for the next time, most people don't know how to title properly so no big deal. I'm not going to read your article because I don't care about anything but the music. "Music is meant to be heard not seen."

This is before reading: correction, DO All Time Low Have the Fall Out Boy Syndrome. The should not be capitalized in a title and do makes more sense than does. Read it aloud and it sounds wiggity whack.
