Wow...some people are selfish. If Pete isn't feeling it anymore...he isn't feeling it anymore...get over it. He doesn't have to stay in FOB. There's no rule book saying that he has to stay in the band. Also, people who are saying he's changed since Bronx, how is that a bad thing? Bronx is his child. Having a child is never a bad thing.

Wow. Pete might not have been an impressive bass player (I play guitar and I could play every FOB song on bass before I knew all my chords), but he was the lyricist, so that might screw with things...

I like Fallout Boy, but not Pete

He's an unexperience bassist in my opinion...their songs are easy on the 4-string!
Hell-I know I can rock his ass on bass.Good thing that douche quit

I believe it is for the better, recently I have noticed FOB starting to sell out, turning some of there songs into commercials. As a die hard Fall Out Boy fan from the beginning, it hurt to see what they had become. Yes I will miss there sound, I had seen them live almost 20 times, and I have met Pete. But as much as I will miss it, its for the better.

I'm sad but after all these other bands spliting up, I'm getting used to it.
I kind of always saw FOB as the band that would never break up.
I really do hope that they all continue making music, even if it isn't with eachother, because they are all great musicians.

Pete stated recently that he wouldn't ever be interested in doing a solo project, actually. He said it's not something he's ever considered doing.

    Pete's definitely egotistical. But he's a genius.

You know how I feel about this?
    GOOD!
I'm glad Pete is leaving Fall Out Boy. I used to like them, and then everything was about Pete. They weren't "Fall Out Boy" anymore, they were "Pete and Fall Out Boy." He's egotistical and you guys are all feeding it. I bet you anything he'll do a solo project. Anything for the fame, right Pete? Yeah.

I believed in Pete I loved Pete I trusted Pete and it was like a slap in the face. Yea im not sure where to go from here. I was reading his tweets and he was being an ass about things its like he found a pair of big boy boxers and put them on and he grew up over night. Pete please go take them off and put your spider man pajamas back on. Please for us. You fed us lies. I feel really bad. Fall Out Boy was the glue to my life and know its all over. IM hoping and praying that maybe he will see the error of his ways. But I kinda feel like ever since bronx pete hasnt been the same. :( Rip FOB i am a believer and my belief will never die.

How does he expect us to keep believing in something he no longer believes in?
As Gabe said on Twitter when Panic! broke up, "Stay together for the kids."

His heart was supposed to beat for the diehards, but why is he leaving the band that made OUR hearts beat?

I understand that he's got Bronx and Ash, but we need him too.

I hardly listen to Fall Out Boy anymore because their new songs I really don't like but do they have to break up? And them doing solo projects doesn't it really show they are together anymore. I dunno. I'm just saying. I'm just shock Pete left.
