Bob Bryar Leaves My Chemical Romance

Bob Bryar Leaves My Chemical Romance Many bands have breaking up lately, and My Chemical Romance is the latest of the trend. Bryar has been in the band since 2004 as the second drummer to be in the band. He replaced Matt Pellissier who was the original drummer from the beginning of the band. As an ex-soundman for The Used and a cameraman on many projects, he has experience under pressure, but this time he couldn't handle it.

Bob has suffered many injuries throughout his career in the band, including third degree burns, broken bones, and most recently, a very bad wrist injury. His injury has affected a lot of his playing, and also his drumming. Most people believe it has something to do with his leaving of the band.

The official statement from the band was posted by rhythm guitarist Frank Iero on their website. He stated the following:

"Hello Friends,

Recently it seems as though every time we write to you guys we have bad news, and we apologize for that, but we've learned in life you can't have the sweet without the sour. As a band we have been very fortunate over the years that our sweet times have greatly outweighed the sour ones, and a great deal of that is owed to you, the fans. Which is why we wanted this news to come from us and not some bullshit gossip site.

As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same.

We also wanted to give you all a quick heads up on how the record is progressing. We have been writing some very powerful new songs so this week the four of us entered the studio once again, and what has been ending up on tape each night is some of the most exciting and honest work we have ever created."

All fans are devastated right now, as many bands have been breaking up lately, but we will get through it. The band is all about saving people, and maybe they will save themselves. Some people say 'Third time is the charm', and hopefully that will work for My Chem.
