Panic! At The Disco Abolishes New Album

Panic! At The Disco Abolishes New Album In July, Panic! At The Disco was close to finishing their sophomore album when they killed the entire album.

"Now, we are trying to write our second second record," Ryan Ross says, "Actually it's more like our third record, since we were three-quarters finished with the first one.

They said the problem was that the other album sounded 'pieced together.'

"It didn't really sound like a band," Ryan explains. "It sounded more like a film score."

So P!ATD ditched the project and started working on the new one.

"We realized that it wasn't going to be any fun to play those songs live." Ryan adds. He knows feels that Panic! is going the right direction and the the overall new album will be "a lot better."

Even though new albums take a long time to do, drummer Spencer Smith says that new album is not far off. He says that their first single will drop during Christmas and the second disc will come out on February.

They say the new CD will be much better then the first one they come up with, and Ryan Ross is very excited about touring for the new CD soon.
