It's okay if someone that's not my type or something along those lines, but do people really need to use the word Gay like it's a bad thing to be homosexual, like it's offensive. Plus, saying these boys bring shame to the male species... dafuq? I'm more ashamed of how close minded some people are...

I know everyone you're talking about, and I adore them all so much. I was also thinking about German band Cinema Bizarre. Not as feminine, but they do dress feminine and had on trouble expressing their sexuality. And they were proud of who they were. And I totally get people not being open-minded. I hate it with a burning passion. In a society as advanced and ever growing as ours, ignorance is unacceptable.

They are in the context of Flower Boys. I know it's hard for westerns to look at them like sex symbols, but they are. Just incredibly different for western hunks.

I'm okay with people who simply aren't into Flower Boys and all, I just wish people would just accept this and move on instead of calling these boys a bunch of hurtful names.

Yeah, I ship TaeKey harder than anything ever (except my infinite number of other otps) but, I don't know. I think that out of all the members, those two would be the most likely to be gay, but I don't really think they are. I can see Key going both ways, though. Key just loves everyone.

I don't think Key is completely gay for a number of reasons. Maybe he's bi or curious. But hell, this is just my opinion.

Honestly I have this secret hidden hope that he'll randomly just come out as gay one day because the fangirl shitstorm, man, the fangirl shitstorm.

Hmm... a lot of people still aren't culturally aware or aren't as accepting and/or open-minded to others who are different or do different things. I think that's all there is to it. There are always people like that out there. Like what you want; don't like, don't care.

As for the whole fanservice thing, it's all fun and skin-shippy. Haha. However, in many Asian cultures, homosexuality is still incredibly discouraged no matter how accepting many people are of it. Not only that, equality of gender is still not completely up to par. But it doesn't mean that both of those topics of discussion aren't improving. Hmm.

Also, I had no idea GD, Heechul, and Taemin were sex symbols. Hahahaha.

I cringe at the comments I read from certain Shawols at the rumours of Key being gay. So, when him and Jjong kiss and hug on stage, it's fine, but if really was gay, that'd be a nightmare? What even...?!

Exactly, like over here, some bands I like do fanservice, and they don't give a fuck about the gay rumors (hell, they play it up most of the time just for fun), but over there, they've got the yaoi and the fanservice and it's all good until someone pulls out the g word and then it's just "OPPAR NUU!!1!1"

I really don't get how we claim to be such an open minded society, yet you still see people our age (and not just older people) bashing someone for what they wear or their sexual orientation.

Yes, I know! I mean, there's artists like f(x)'s Amber, who's seen as more of a tomboy type, and that's perfectly okay, but when a man decides to wear something not immediately perceived as 'manly' he's ridiculed for it. It's so annoying - reminds me a bit of when SHINee's Sherlock M/V came out and pretty much every comment was about Taemin's hair 'making him look like a woman'.
