Warped Tour '08: Artists - Comments

I like Charlotte Sometimes, The Horrorpops, Oreskaband, Automatic Love Letter, Paramore, Rise Against, and The Vandals and I was gonna go see them, but I didn't have any money as the day began the approach. Yeah, I'm still mad about that.

I know it's kinda late but I figured I'd mentioed that the name of the band is Oreskaband, not oreska.

I think Warped is a thousand times better than it used to be.

If it was all just punk bands, it'd be boring.
I like how theres a variety.

Man, I really want to go but I never get to..
I wanna see the Audition again though. They were soooo good live when I saw them. Sounded just the album.

i rather like 'festivals'....you get to see a lot more bands for a cheaper price...i'm going to warped tour july 15th i'm rather excited...i went to bamboozle last year and i'm going again this year...one of the first bands that played bamboozle on saturday last year, some little 'no-name' band, i talk to them occasionally--i liked their sound and i looked into them and because of them i've talked to a few other 'no-name' bands...i go to a show to enjoy the music, not the people i end up surrounded by.

Hmm, I went the last 2 years, and I really wanted to make it a tradition that I go every year... but I hardly recognize any band on that list!

Like, I guess older bands with heavier sounds have their own tours to do and what not... but Warped Tour has gone from meaning 'really scary punk tour with guys wearing mohawks and big fat mitties' to an emo-convention. No joke.

Aw, screw that, then. I've seen many of those bands live before, and quite a few of them put on AMAZING shows, but...if Rise Against isn't going to be there for the Cleveland date, then there's no use in me buying a ticket. A lot of those other bands are great, but I wouldn't pay full price for a ticket if I can't see Rise Against. Not worth it, for me. *sad*

fuck warped/bamboozle now seriously. FUCK IT THEY SUCK NOW. MOST OF YOU ONLY THINK IT'S GOOD NOW BECAUSE A LOT OF YOU DIDN'T GO BEFORE EVERYONE KILLED IT BECAUSE THEY STARTED ADVERTISING FOR THOSE FESTIVALS IN FUCKING SEVENTEEN AND COSMO GIRL MAGAZINES. before everyone went, they had better bands. now it's all whiny emo music that all sounds the same excluding a few good bands, and theres no heavy music or real punk music at those festivals anymore. i remember at warped a few years ago they had like, the casualties and so much better music.
