A Knight to Remember for Batman? - Comments

I just went on an information binge about this game, looking up all the trailers and whatnot, and HOLY CRAP. I'm even more pumped for this game then before! And I think I will be pre-ordering the game soon because playing as Harley just sounds like it would be badass. The graphics, combat, Batmobile... just everything looks so good. And I love that the gliding looks way faster, too! Scarecrow is just badass, and I definitely wanna fight him because in Asylum, his parts were just so amazing and creepy.

Anarchy is basically a bratty teen who tries to "free" people but goes the wrong way about it. he at first looks up to bats but hates him later on. the reason why i think AK might be him is because of Origins, which he was in. while not it may not be part of the trilogy, it is part of the series and since anarchy was in that, i wouldnt be surprise if he's brought into AK in general.

I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with Anarchy though (pardon my lack of comics knowledge, I only know so much n_n;)- care to refresh me?

I found his lair in Arkham City. i was so proud of myself when i did :D i love the fact that scarecrow is the main villain in this one :D cant wait to play it and yeah that's hush

I plan to cosplay his new outfit at some point :) made the hoodie and the gloves already haha XD just need to make his new claw, the mask and the rest of it. oh yes if going by the arkham asylum nightmares, it should be amazing. i remember when i first played through the second one and woke up in the clock tower. didnt expect to end up in there lol i have a few thoeries on arkham knight including that its hush but im going for Anarchy more then hush

Yeah, I saw Scarecrow's new design and it is *wicked* I must say! Absolutely terrifying, but very visually interesting! I'm also excited to see those other rogues, Harley and Red Hood in particular, since I just love Harley in general and Red Hood could be a lot of fun story-wise c:
That Scarecrow's Nightmare map sounds like it could be pretty epic though, if the Scarecrow sequences in Asylum are anything to go by *nods*

Of course, as far as the Arkham Knight goes, they sound a lot like Azazel in "Knightfall", or perhaps they're going for a less well-known rogue like the Phantasm from "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm" (but, that would involve some story tweaking so, eh, we'll see :P).
As for Joker, I'm pretty sure he's- no use avoiding spoilers now- deader than dead, but with the Joker it's kinda hard to tell for sure most of the time :/

I do wonder where they're gonna go with the story though...hm...
(I'm just happy that Mr. Freeze's little plot-line was resolved in City, and furthermore that this game- knock on wood- won't follow what the New 52 did with him...yes, I'm bitter n_n~*)

I wonder if they will conclude on what happend when......that one guy took Bruces Identity...Blah I forget his name. This means I need to go back and replay both games to prepare myslef for the new one. I am excited and highly thrilled to see what will be done. I'm also excited to see Scarecrows comeback and about his secret lab that was in Arkhem City (if you knew where to look). I also want to see how Harley Quinn is doning after her tradgic loss. The extra game play for her story was well not up to par in my opinion. It should have been done a bit better, but hey at least we got to play Robin .

hey thanks for the comment. i love the arkham series to and this article is a mixture of facts, rumors and my opinion. i heard a good few rumors about superman and Damian but they seemed to have died down now. ive been following the offical website to find out whats going on with the game and so far, scarecrow's been confirmed as the overall villain. riddler, two face, penguin and a few others have been confirmed to be in the game. Harley Quinn and Red Hood have been confirmed as playable character with own story mode and Quinn has 4 challenge maps. theres also the PS4 special Edition map, Scarecrow's Nightmare which is Gotham City in Scarecrow Mode and so far Joker hasnt been confirmed to have returned. theres also the Arkham Knight, which i believe they are using to distract the players as to what's really going on. They did this with both Asylum and City. I.E used joker both times to distract the player from the likes of Ivy and Scarecrow in Asylum and used both joker and hugo strange as a distraction from Ra's Al Ghul and Clayface. this also happened in Origins as they used Blackmask to distract the player from Joker and Bane

hey thanks for the comment. while i dont know if its on pre-release yet, i can tell you its to be released on June 2, 2015. i would guess it is on pre-release already but not sure on that. also we dont get to play as robin from what i know but we do get to play as Harley and Red hood. I'm guessing its Jason Todd from his pic. its more motorbike fetish then a tux :) i have to admit i wrote this about a good few months ago and moved it to here because the site i had it got shut down :( and since then, they released the images of Scarecrow and the others so here's some links so you can have a look.

Oh and not sure if you know but there's a DLC for Arkham City called Harley Quinn's Revenge. you get to play as both batman and robin in that. its Tim Drake as the robin as well. Also check out the trailer on youtube. you get to see scarecrow and hear his voice. its so deep compared to Arkham Asylum Scarecrow. i think croc chewed on his vocal cords lol

I seriously can't wait for this game to come out, too. To be honest, I only recently got into the Arkham series because they were for dirt cheap on Steam a few months back. I've played each game through so many times already so I'm itching to get the new one! I LOVE the fact that we're going to be able to use the Batmobile. Sometimes I think gliding around everywhere is fun and all, but it gets old. In Origins, I basically started to use all the fast travel drops whenever I could because it was just such a pain getting everywhere (especially across the damn Pioneer Bridge! ). And I seriously hope that Robin will be playable! I was dying to play him in Arkham City when he popped up, but my hopes were smashed. Lol

I'm personally quite excited for the game myself, given that I have a big ol' soft spot in my heart for good old Bats, and of course I love the Arkham series to bits.
From what I hear of this game, it should shape up to be a very grand finally indeed, which is even more exciting!

However, I was previously unfamiliar with the rumors of Superman making an appearance and Damian being Batman. I'm especially curious about the latter, given that Batman has been identified as Bruce Wayne throughout the games, so unless I'm missing something (which I might be, given that I tend to muddle information sometimes) I'm not sure where the grounds for that rumor would be :/

I guess we'll just have to wait for the game itself XD
