    I didn't either. When I was assigned the essay, I assumed it would be boring and I'd just have to list bakers names and find a way to make 2 pages, but then I started reading more and found out it was a lot of fun and that there is so much history on it.

    Interesting article. I had no idea there were so many different versions of wedding cake and how much it means to the wedding.

    This was my essay for my Sugar class, which was the history on wedding cakes. I actually got a 100 on it, so I'm guessing these are true. I spent a lot of time surfing the web and checking out multiple sources for this. I really needed the 100 for the class, so I wasn't just going to mess around with it.

    Wow... Where did you get this information? Who puts cake under their pillow?

    Also you should consider location, I'm sure wedding cakes in Asia are different than America etc.

    Seems like you had a bit of fun and called it history, pardon me if some of these things are true, but they really don't sound sensical.
