Lil Wayne Tha Carter III Rebirth.

Lil Wayne Tha Carter III Rebirth. Lil Wayne was supposed to release his next album, Tha Carter III: Rebirth in April but the release date has been set back to May. Lil Wayne is continuing with his I Am Music Tour. Artists such as T-Pain, Keri Hilson, Gym Class Heroes, and Gorilla Joe will be joining him again. The only exception being Keyshia Cole. As well as working on Rebirth, Lil Wayne is also working on Tha Carter IV. In an interview with MTV, Lil Wayne had the following to say concerning Rebirth and Tha Carter IV:

"I don't know if we're gonna release Tha Carter IV now," he said on his tour bus. "I think we're gonna release Tha Carter III — a new Carter III with none of the same songs, though. None of them. Not one! We don't wanna call the [next album] we got coming out Tha Carter IV. That was the dilemma we were in. We want Carter IV to be what everybody wants it to be. This is something brand-new, so we don't want it to be some experimental thing, 'cause some people are not gonna like this. I don't want them to not like Tha Carter IV. But I do have an album coming soon, very soon, and it's gonna be called ... Tha Carter III: The Rebirth. The birth of a new beginning." [Source]

This is a very smart decision on Wayne's part. Not all of his fans are going to appreciate rock laced music that he has stored for Tha Carter III: Rebirth. Aside from having some rock songs on there, it's also a possibility that all the versions of A Milli may be included as well.

Wayne has informed MTv that he's been in the studio with some producers and he was chatting with Pharell Williams on his tour bus about some future work.

While it's smart for Lil Wayne to experiment with all this on another Carter III, it's also a bit silly. How long is the self proclaimed Best Rapper Alive going to cling to the Carter III title? It's time to let go and move on to a next album. From his description in the above interview, it sounds as if everything on Tha Carter III: Rebirth is going to be brand spankin' new, minus the versions of 'A Milli'. So why tag it on to Tha Carter III? Create a new album already, Wayne!
