Is Now Really The Time For An Enviromental Revolution? - Comments

  • I think the whole environment thing is a little over the top.

Yes, we should not litter, or cut down rainforests, or anything that will potentially harm our planet.

But honestly, it's going to take years and years and years before the environment breaks down, and [christian] if Jesus is coming back, the earth will still have to be recognizable. It won't be destroyed until the end of the Tribulation, when everyone will go to either heaven or hell anyway.[/christian]

So I think that we should take it slow...it's really not going to change much >_>

  • Well which would you rather, a bit of an easier time shopping now or great-grandchildren with an earth to live on later?

  • We should focus on the environment, but take it slow, like Eagle said. I think we should all be living on farms and riding horses and stuff to school and doing farmwork and living for ourselves, but hey, that's just me. =)

Good article. You had a lot of nice points.

  • I agree with xXGreyWingsXx. If we don't work on the environmental issues now, then we'll probably die off. I can think of so many problems that could be solved if we just had clean energy for everyone…but not economical things. XP Why don't the wind turbines go on top of the buildings? ;D

  • It's a long term thing, so we need to stop worrying about prices now, and think of the price hanging over our heads later if we don't start swapping to green now. Inevitably, if we don't swap, the human race will starve and drown... It's a cheery outlook! ^_^

  • I think this could be a good idea, but we need to take it slow. The consequences are too great if we mess up. I was watching the news this morning and they were talking about this; I want to know where the carbon dioxide will go from those "fake trees" that suck the CO2 out of the air. I feel that global warming is a natural earth thing, but we are responsible for speeding it up.
