This was an amazing article! Reminds me of the stuff we have to do for Psych and Socio. Haha. But really. I've had friends who said that music really did help them retain better memories - especially when it came to studying for exams and such. I think I'll suggest listening to Jpop and Kpop if that doesn't work any more.

This is cool. But the only free flowing music I sometimes listen to is African.

Pretty cool article! :D Utada's probably one of the very few foreign artists (that I know of) that can produce music in two languages and fluently. I always laugh when people don't know she's fluent in English. I actually listen to a lot foreign music (and some classical) when I'm studying. Mostly because I'm not so distracted by the lyrics and I've read that music that don't have lyrics are better for studying and foreign music kinda seemed to fit under that "less distracting" category. It works, unless I know and love the song really well. :L

Thank you! It was a LOT of hard work. This was the result of five months of research, collecting data, and running experiments for my Research Methods course x) haha It was the death of me! I got an A on the assignment though! I am very proud of it, even though I didn't have any significant findings.

This was really interesting, and a well organized article. I noticed on your profile that you're a psych major, was this some sort of research assignment you had to do?
