I love guinea pigs! I used to have one named Scooters but I woke up one morning and he was dead. :(. They really are cute and easy to take care of. I love it when they squeak. Mine would always squeak when I shook a bag of lettuce..:D guinea pigs ROCK!

Aww, I love guinea pigs. The person at the pet store said that both of our guinea pigs were boys, and we never looked under neath... so it was too late when one of them got pregnant. My mother read online that most guinea pigs die while giving birth because the babies are too big, and certain types of guinea pigs can't be bred because the babies could go blind, or not be able to eat. But she made three very cute healthy babies and we kept them all [=

Guinea Pigs can get pregnant when they are around three weeks old, I am sure this is a great cause to the over abundance of guinea pigs.

Four years ago I begged my mother for a guinea pig and after hounding her about it for months we finally went to Petco and bought one. I did not know at the time that this Guinea Pig was pregnant. A few months later however I woke up to find two bundles of fluff the size of strawberries in the cage with her. Needless to say [and to my moms unhappiness] we now have two guinea pigs. =P

I love guinea pigs. I had about six of them. Haven't had any in years, though. My mom won't let me get another one. =[

Eh, I have like around 20 of them already. Used to have more, but they got old and passed away.
Mine are all lazy, chubby and well, lazy. The cats love 'em too, one time I found my cat laying in the big cage, chillin' with them, that was a 'WTF moment'.
Cute little rascals, might I add.

My guinea pig, Brandy, is like, the cutest thing ever! ^_^
We had another one, Cookie, but he lost alot of weight. We monitored his eating, and he was still eating all the food he used to eat, and he lived up the the 'pig' part of his name. Trust me. :L We were about to take him to the vets, but i found him dead just before our date at the vets.

And was it cruel to not take Brandy to the vets about a lump on his back? It wasnt bothering him at all, and it didnt cause him any pain, so we came to the conclusion that it would hurt more for him to go to the vets than to have a lump. It eventually popped, though, and that didnt look like it bothered him o.O Turned out it was a cyst. :/

And usually he's scared of people, but today i went out to him and he ran up to me and sniffed my hand :D I love him. ^_^

    I love Guinea Pigs!
My parents wont allow me to adopt one though. =(
There's this one lady in Germany who used to be my neighbor, and she had 72 Guinea Pigs that she adopted. They were so adorable!
