Jeez, is that really necessary?
Just feed Aussies and Americans all that candy..
Surely they wouldn't have an issue with it.

Even rabbits?! Crikey.

i wanan reply to Hell_raiser comments yea everyone knows that happens but its not something you shrug off. we can help prevent it happening as often instead of saying " oh well it happens its life get over it" well you wouldnt be saying that if it was your family or friends that was under the abuse

@jelly447, That's a whole lot of things not to eat! And honestly, I love most of them.
Looks like I gotta boycott it or something. I'll spread it to my friends too.

---- wait, some dog foods? Shouldn't dog food be tested on dogs? They can't test them on humans... [nor should they test human food on guinie pigs] but I'm confused - this is about animal testing, what is inhumane about testing dog food on dogs?

I'd love for you to clear that up for me, because I'm sure that I'm only missing something.

Yeah, I saw that elsewhere. It's disgusting. I mean, what's the point of testing this crap on animals? Obviously, they're going to react badly to the cocoa.
Down with Mars.

That sucks, how could they do that?
And they did it for things that where already proven, that we already knew about
Its bad as it is, but animal testing for no reason is even worse
How could someone have the heart to do that, or rather the lack thereof.
Well written article anyways =] x

I really had no clue about that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'm definitely going to stop eating those candies now.

It's fucking stupid to force-feed animals, and take their lives just so people can shove harmful sugar down their throats. (This does not mean that I'm saying anything against people who do eat candy. Even I enjoy a little snack every now, and then. Just thought I'd clear that up.)

Uh.
Would you rather things be tested on animals that you would see in your house and kill?
Or people?
Yeah.
All of you would rather have it tested on household vermin than on people.
And if you just didn't test things at all, people could die because nobody knows the effects things will have.
But if it's already proven what something does, they don't need to test it again unless they changed something, sure.

i can't believe people would do such a thing to poor defenseless animals!!! bunnies r cute and fuzzy, why would u want to kill them? and they probably don't even have the same reactions that we would. i really don't get it. someone needs to do something about this!!! call the important people who do things!!! get them on the phone and tell them to hire some ninjas or something! this is just wrong.

We've already had an article on this.

And the whole point of experimenting on these animals is to see how the products that they are selling will effect humans in the long term.

We haven't "tested" it load of times on humans. You cannot test directly on humans due to a little thing called the Nuremberg Code which was put in place because of the Nazis.

And PETA are Satan's bitches. Do not listen to them.
