thank you! its so refreshing to meet someone who isnt obsessed with the jonas brothers...all of the girls at my school claim theyre gonna marry a jonas brother and that miley cyrus is gonna be their best friend.. i personally believe that the jonas brothers are faggots and that miley cyrus is a ginormous beeyatch.....people really needto wake up and smell the coffee and realize that pop and rock are NOT the same thing.

Okay, I know this is like an old journal, but I don't read much stuff on here however, when I read this I just had to comment, sorry couldn't contain myself, so I'm just gonna be honest and say: the JB can just cut off their balls and give them to that monkey face HM so she could happily play tennis with her little fluffy friends in the wonderful world of puppies. For the love of fuck people! I mean "every one has their own opinion" my ass! Good music will always be good music but seriously? Did you hear HM's voice? It's like dogs barking, I've heard trees with prettier voice... As for the JBs I mean, wasn't it enough that they were already pop stars? Did they have to go into being Disney's bitches too? I apologize, this is actually the first time I've been on mibba in the past few days I live in Texas and we were hit with Hurricane Ike pretty bad, so I've been without power both friday night and all of saturday

Everyone of those Rockers you named, I liked at least one of their songs. I agree that they are super good musicnas and bands. But...

Just because you prefer rock music, doesn't mean that all non-rock music isn't also good music. Yes JB is probably a fad. But so is emotional rock, as you called it, a fad too? Do you honestly believe that Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, or even as resent as MCR or Panic at the Disco, are as popluar as they once were. With Montley Crue and Guns and Roses it's obvious that they aren't toping the music charts anymore, but MCR and PATD aren't topping them either much anymore. Who is? It's that not-so-great band and solo singer Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers. MCR and PATD used to be on everything, but now JB's and Hannh are. && frankly, Jonas Brothers and Hannah are wayyy better at the whole music bizz then those other rock bands are. Those tweens are making way more money than MCR,PATD, Papa Roach, CKY, or any of those bands did when starting out.

But, I do wonder sometimes are the musians so up their own asses that they can't appreciate new talent? I would like to give them more credit than that, I think that areal musican and people who really appreciate music, can, if not enjoy, give credit were credit is do in other bands and musicans.

THE JONAS BROTHERS ARE NOT DISNEY CHANNEL.

Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus obviously is. But, I just want to get across to the whole fucking world that The Jonas Brothers are not Disney Channel stars. They may have been on Disney, but they're also on MTV and they did not get famous because of Disney. I've known them years before they were on Disney; they didn't start of Disney stars.

That's about it. Rock music is not the only good genre out there, they make catchy songs, Which kid's love and is all they really care about in a song. If they want to call themselves Rock then let them, they might have a different idea of what Rock music is. If people like them they like them, and they are allowed to like them and should not be embarrassed.

it's not just dissing JB and HM, it's making a point about how the music genres aeem to be being merged all the time. although i personally dislike 'disney pop', i have nothing against it. but it simply isn't rock music.

and stereohead rewired, i've seen jonas brothers and they suck live. my chem were amazing, infinitely better.
but metallica still beat the lot so... *shrugs*

I actually saw the Jonas Brothers live last night, personally I thought they were gunna be crap, but they're probably the best band I've seen in my 17 years of living. Way, way, way better than My Chemical Romance were, they really knew how to rock.

All MCR managed to do was make my ears bleed, at least JB can sing in tune live.

No one said they were rockstars; Miley/Hannah said she was a rockstar, but that doesn't mean everyone agrees.

And I happen to be a Jonas Brothers fan and totally disagree. People don't give them a chance simply because they're Disney. Rolling Stone had them on their cover and gave them a great review. All the reviews have called them rockstars.
