    Hmm. My five steps are:

    1) Play hooky. Ditch school/work. It really is good for the soul.

    2) Watch cartoons you're way too old for. Maybe reruns of ones you watched when you were a kid, or your favourite old school Disney movie.

    3) Sing. Don't bother turning the stereo on to drown out your own voice. Just SING. And pretend you sound amazing, whether you do or not.

    4) Get yourself completely exhausted by 8pm. Stay up all night anyway.

    5) Go for a walk at 2am.

    Or, for alternates to replace any item 2-5 (but playing hooky is essential!):
    *Take a looong hot shower, and spoil yourself with your favourite lotions/moisturizers/a mani-pedi
    *Eat way too much of your favourite junk food
    *Lay on the ground outside in the middle of nowhere.
    *Indulge in a guilty pleasure (I really like that one so I'm stealing it.)
