People are racist on both parts, whether people want to admit it or not, people are saying "he's the saint for blacks" and crap like that, which is YES racist in itself. And others don't want him to become president because he's black and muslim, but what can you say?

I personally would be praying for anyone that became president, whether it have been McCain or Obama, lets hope Obama does better than good and that for the most part people didn't just vote for him because he's black or vote against him because he's black and that this doesn't strike up racism. :\

Now that Obama is prez-elect, I hope everything goes right. I only have one little issue with him that made me not vote for him. I don't like Biden one bit. He bashes Obama without realizing it. He reminds me of a pit bull being held back by yarn, it'll snap any moment.

What people don't see is the bad part? Uh... I see it very well, thank you. People who don't realize that there is still racism in the country are idiots.

Maybe it's just your state... or ignorance... but I rarely hear people say that they're going to vote for Obama because he's black. In fact, I typically hear people say they're not going to vote for him because he's black or because he's a muslim.

There are obviously going to be racist fuckers out there who want to hurt Obama. The secret service is on top of it. Presidents were killed in the past because the service was on the same level as them. They have a lot more things to work with now. Obama will most likely not be killed.

Either Barack will be assasinated or McCain's going to croak. I'm basing my (unheard) opininon on their Vice Presidential canidates, because either way one of them will probably die. It comes down to being stuck with Palin or Biden, and I choose Biden.

I feel that this election is all about the lesser of the two evils as well. I'm not too fond of Obama. I'd rooted for Mrs. Clinton in the primaries. That's right, I'm a Clinton fan. Anyway... Obama won some of my respect in the final presidential election. But do I think he'll make a good president? Not really.

I do view him as the lesser of the two evils, however, so he gets my vote. I hope he proves me wrong...

There was a thing in the new about an asassination plot on Obama about a week ago. I get what you're saying about the feeling of impending doom. I voted for Obama, but not because he's black. I voted for him because I think he's the best candidate of the ones we've got.
