I think I have too many books. - Comments

Throw out the wooden planks, and get a new case. I suggest putting the heavier books on the ends, and the lighter ones in the middle so they don't snap.

Oh God, I completely know what you mean D: My dad HATES books too, so he's always like "Get rid of them! You never read them! Horrible things!" but I can't do that. They're my babies, ahah :3

I've got the lot of books that lived in my bookcase, about five boxes full in our attic and a couple more stashed under my bed and in the airing cupboard. I'll probably get new bookcases sooooon, but I'm gonna miss those ones.

Time to get new bookcases!

I'm in the same boat... Kind of. I don't have any breaking cases, but I'm sure I'd fill up a large space with all my books. I have books everywherein my room. And it's not even all of them. I have a full bookcase at home, and like 4 boxes filled with books at my sister's house. My family keeps bitching at me because I keep bringing home more books. They're like, "You need to get rid of some of them!" I'm not. I'm going to be one of those awesome, kooky English teachers with a small library's worth of books in her classroom. :D
