What is a kiss? - Comments

  • I also had a lot of meaningless kisses (boys and girls), but that stopped when I found someone I love to be with.

Now, a kiss is a way to show respect, desire, and trust. It's also a silent way to say I Love You. A kiss can breathe life back into someone who feels like dying, and kill someone who attaches more to it than the other.

Just because you give meaningless kisses doesn't mean you won't find your own meaning of a kiss one day, you will. Maybe not this year, or next, or for many years. But one day, your kisses will be yours and yours alone, to give to those you care about, and recieve from those that care for you.

  • To me a kiss is a way to show willingness between two in a relationship. The willingness to allow someone to be that close to you. The willingness to show someone a vulnerable side. A kiss to me is simply allowing someone you trust to hold you and give you something of theirs.

  • My English teacher is insane and terrifying, but super awesome.
One of the things I remember her telling me goes something along the lines of:
"A kiss is the exchange of each other's soul."
It had occurred when we were reading a poem, and these two loves were separated by a wall, and their only way of speaking was by this tiny crack.
They breathed through the wall to each other, mimicking a kiss.
A kiss doesn't just have to be lips to lips, as long as it's something worthwhile.
So a kiss is the 'exchange of souls' or however you want to put it.
It shouldn't be something meaningless, though that can often happen.
A real kiss would be...I guess, I dunno, you would feel like it's more then just to sets of lips smacking together.
    Any help?
