Hm, things like this tend to happen when moving. I've had my best friend move away when I was younger (8) and I was devastated. I still think about her, and sometimes I feel left behind on the occasions I randomly give her a ring. Not that I'm saying it's the only time it's happened to me, I just wanted to point out that maybe you're friends are missing you more than they're letting on. No matter what - if you were a true friend to them - they'll never be able to forget you, not even if you move acroos the world and never talk to them again. Even still, it's nice to just pick up the phone and talk to them sometimes. But don't worry - it's all normal. Things like that tend to happen, and you'll sometimes miss them, but you'll have your "new" friends, too. Besides, if it comes down to it, you can always arrange for a visit, or just randomly call/email/snail mail them. Well, good luck. ;)
