  • Thats awful, people can be very superficial. Others put it down to "growing apart" but lets face it, its a commonly misconcepted euphamism.
I'm just sorry you have to go through that all.

  • V Yeah, I've been thinking I just need to forget her, too. Lately, I've been trying to play the "nice girl" card, so I left her a comment on her journal. A nice one, mind you. She retaliates by telling one of the mutual friends I was saying stuff about her. I was more annoyed than angry, though.

Jamaicans, totally. Maybe I'm biased, since I AM Jamaican, and I only know two Trinidadians in real life, but my aunt makes roti that makes you go Happy face

  • I didn't even recognize your icon. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't see your Tweet about a new journal.

Anyhow, that really sucks about your friend. Unfortunately, it isn't really that common. High school changes people and sometimes it's for the worse. I think the best thing you can do is to ignore her and keep being a good friend to your mutual friends. If they decide to chose sides and pick her over you, they're really not good friends to begin with.

Maybe your friend will grow out of this nasty phase, though I wouldn't bet on it. It usually takes something 'disastrous' for change to happen. But hopefully...

As for questions, I remember once you said that your parents (or one of your parents) was Jamaican? Is that right? If so, who do you think makes the best roti, Jamaicans or Trinidadians?
