  • I don't have a ton of readers either... a lot of times it actually comes down to the title of the piece. A lot of times I think I have a title that I think sums up the story, but I change it because it's not catchy enough. If you have a title that makes people want to read, they'll read. If you don't change the title, then put in a catchy description. Remember, when people are scrolling through the story page, which is where I've found most of the ones I've subscribed to, they pick ones with a description or title they like. Once more people start reading your stories, it'll get more stars and when people are looking for something to read, a lot of times they'll pick ones with more stars.
One thing I've done is really pushed for people to subscribe. When I was 2 subscribers away from another star, I posted it in my authors note and on my profile. Magically, I got three more subscribers (haha).
Another thing you can try is to put it in a journal. One thing I've done is said "I'll read your story, you read mine" and people can post what story they want you to read, and in turn they'll read one of yours. That was good.
If I think of any other ideas, I'll post again, but in the meantime, enjoy Mibba!
And I'll read a couple of your stories when I have a chance...
