My Half-Blood Prince review - Comments

  • I thought that the new teenage Tom Riddle looked more like the kid, but the older one was more Voldemortish; and the guy who played Slughorn looked nothing at all like him, but he sure did do a good job playing him. All the "Harry m'boy"s were awesome. Cormac Mclaggen was amazing, and disgusting at the same time. (Remember the ice cream scene?)

I thought the burning of the burrow fit pretty well, it obviously wasn't in the books, but it worked. Tom Felton did a great job with Draco Malfoy.

The lack of memories killed me too! But I was glad they included Aragog's funeral.
    "Spiders are misunderstood creatures."
    "It might be the pinchers."

  • England's Dreaming: The room I was in for the pictures was my sister's room. My room, you can see a picture of my HP wall in the journal "I have to stop buying so many books", has a lot more posters than her room.

  • I like your room. My mom would never let me put that many posters up.

  • asteroid: Yeah, they should've used the old Tom Riddle. This new one looks nothing like him.

I love in the joke shop when Ron asks how much whatever he was holding cost.
    Fred and George: Five Galleons
    Ron: No, really.
    Fred and George: Five galleons
    Ron: But I'm your brother.
    Fred and George: Ten galleons.
    I love them.

  • I wish they kept the teenage Tom Riddle from the second movie, even if he's older now, he can still pretend to be a teenager... Actors in their thirties do it all the time.

I have to say, the Burrow thing made me mad. There was no reason for it. And the lack of memories... it's killing me.

Also, Bonnie seemed to really force her acting. She seemed like a robot the entire time. :/

But other than that, my favorite part had to be Fred and George's joke shop. It was the most colorful thing in that movie and it just made me happy. :)
