We have a picture up by our front door that says "Put your big girl panties on and deal with it." I often walk by it without reading it, but lately I've been stopping and realizing that I have to get my life together and move out soon too.

I tried to listen to them, but my brain kept shutting down. It just couldn't handle that...noise. I call it cruel & unusual punishment that should be used on suspected terrorists. XD

Yes it is. A little nerve wracking, but I'm excited! It's nice knowing I'll have a place to come back to should things not work out.

Errr well it's tricky because me and Hen are on the nearish campus and the guys, Jack and Andy have to get a bus. Before they had to get two buses, now it's only one. We could technically take this bus to our campus but I'm only in uni twice a week this year. Two 9am lectures, Thursday and Friday.
Anyway, am also procrastinating lol, it's a forty minute walk for me and Hen roughly but we get to walk right through the city which, despite being boring nightlife wise, is infamously pretty and old. Plus our house is in the city centre pretty much so we win on that count. And we are 20 metres from the river =D

Is this going to be the first time you've lived away from home?

About 2 1/2 hours. So, pretty far, but not too far. I'm hoping within the next few years to move out of the state, preferably somewhere warm XD

Procrastinator? Me too haha. Do you know how far from your campus you're planning on moving? And yeah! It does seem like a lot of Mibbians are in the process of moving, or are planning to move!

That's so great, it sounds like a really great apartment! And you'll be living with your mate, that's always a plus point. Is it far from where you live now? It seems like a few Mibbians are moving out of the house = )

Ì'm doing English Literature. Going into my second year in September. The first year went surprisingly well but I need to get out of the habit of doing everything the night before. I had a bar job at the same time so I was out a lot when I should have been at home reading lol it was great fun but this year I'm aiming for a First so I'll be studying a bit harder.

I'm moving to a one bedroom apartment, but it's pretty big. Huge living room, there's two closets so we won't fight over clothes space, decent sized kitchen, nice bathroom. It's my friend's apartment, and I was actually wishing I could move with her when I visited earlier this year. XD

It was a hostessing job at a Pizza Hut. haha. Just temporary. And the job that I could possibly get when I move is a call in service for credit cards or something like that. I guess it's pretty easy and there's a good bunch of people that work there.

What are you going to uni for, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm glad you had a great day! I'm in a sort of similar boat with the whole moving out thing. I go to uni and it's my second year so I'm moving into a house with three of my best friends there. What sort of place would you be getting? Would you be sharing with people? Oh, and what job? Sorry, I'm so nosy =P
