Liquid diets slow your metabolism. Don't do it.

Malnutrition can occur on a liquid diet - also, it can be very bad for your colon, no fiber, y'know?

If you want to lose weight, the most natural and healthy way is to burn more calories (exercise) than you take in (eating). So, if you eat healthy and exercise not only will you lose weight, but you'll feel better as well. Remember, though, that if you eat too few calories you can hurt yourself. Drinking a lot of water is good, too. If this doesn't work for you I'd consult your doctor about more options. Fad diets like low carb diets and liquid diets don't work and can be very, very unhealthy - like Kinky mentioned below, you will most likely gain the weight back.

As for adoption, I admire those who choose to. I'm not sure if I want kids at all, though, it just depends. I know adoption is something I'd look into though if I did ever consider having children.

    I agree with Audrey T.

Liquid diets are unhealthy, and once you stop using them, you'll just gain all of the weight back.

I plan on adopting, also, mainly because I'm scared of birth. :/

I think, that really the only thing I have to say is that liquid diets are extremely unhealthy. If you're doing it to lose weight, I would advise against it. Sure, you'll lose weight, but as soon as you're back to eating solid foods, you'll gain the weight back and then some. Please, find a healthier diet - one that doesn't threaten your health, but makes it better. I think adoption is great, when the parents are really willing to open their hearts to these kids.

And I plan on adopting kids too. I think it's an amazing thing for a person to be able to welcome practical strangers into their homes and make them family. My aunt has adopted a child (a baby boy - he's been with her since birth) and I think it's the best thing she (and her husband) have ever done. They're so happy now and the kid is developing really well (his birth mother was addicted to heroin and he was born a couple of months prematurely).
