My Rant on Medication for Kids. - Comments

This reminds me of a Paolo Nutini song, Ritalin. I don't think there's a studio recording of it, I've only ever seen him perfom it live, but it has great lyrics:

Gimme some ritalin!

Let's not forget the kid's only 8 years old!

He did a good little speech on it too, but it was really more about the whole..culture of how kids are medicated in the States and not Europe, but I thought it was a good song. He mixed in a cover of the Fresh Prince in with it, and got me and my friends to sing along, which naturally, I loved.

My friend, Lauren, has JRA and she has to take medication for that and depression, or else she becomes a zombie. The JRA medication helps her joints, but makes her depressed, so she has to take depression medication because she was previously depressed. Ugh. It's confusing.
