This is happening to me too. My guy friend just asked me out. And at first I wanted to say no but we're gonna try the boyfriend/girlfriend thing.

So maybe you should date him.

Apparently I have high standards as well. What you could do is ask him out on a date, then if after that you don't know if you like him just talk to him about it if he asks you out again or tried to make a move or something.

Usually if I was getting this confused about it i would just wait and see how it turns out. He probably likes you if he held your hand in the movie. If you do end up going out with him you can always dump him and if you don't end up going out with him then you can always ask him out. So really it doesn't matter what happens in the next few days because you can always change that. Does this make sense?
