Well, I can say that becoming a new person is a choice. No you can't get rid of who you were in the past. However you can start a new leaf, that is up to you though.

Everyone has bad day and bad things happen to them, that is true. Sometimes though it's good to let it out on whoever is willing to listen. Everyone has a right to just vent even if it's not a big deal to he other person, if it is to you then let it out.

And if you're friends jokes really do hurt your feelings, you have to be up front and open about it. They'll never stop if you don't tell them to, or ask them to, you have to explain your feelings.

I'm sorry about your dog, but its a good thing you are letting it out in a journal.

Don't pretend like everything is okay if it isn't. Cause your letting yourself be pushed around and letting yourself believe it is okay, when really it's haunting you. Be truthful and don't let them walk all over you without one hell of a fight!

The more you bottle up the worse you get, the more pain and sadness you will feel.

Don't let that happen to you, talk to someone willing to listen and who's willing to talk you through it and make it better.

Things don't have to be the way you are explaining, you are letting it be that way.

Just be brave and honest, and if your friends can't be serious about it then maybe they aren't really friends.
