  • I say, take a bit of a break from all that trying. If you get too steamed out, then you won't see that it's worth saving the friendship.
    I think you just need to have a chat with her, saying that maybe your interests have broadened, but that doesn't mean you've changed. She seems as though she clings to what she loves, and anything that changes it is wrong.
    I had the same problem with a couple friends, and now I never talk to one. Her life has turned to shit, and I can't even get ahold of her because she refuses to talk to me. It was her birthday a few days ago...
    So, learn from my pain. Even if the both of you decide that hanging out as often isn't the best idea, don't let the friendship totally fade away. You'll regret it, trust me.
