    That is true, for the majority anyway.
    People have lost that sense of being an individual with their own thoughts, opinions and personalities.
    All the "groups" of friends will always have some kind of a leaders.
    The "trends" that take over every now and then.

    My thing, is to just be myself. Sometimes it doesn't work out so well.. but who cares?

    i must say this is true for me on some levels. Just the vapid things like clothes and hair. If I like something my friends don't, well then I'm going to keep my mouth shut.
    This isn't true for matters of character, though. I stand up and pursue for what I believe in. I give money to the homeless when I have it without considering the cause. It one of my friends decided that gay marriage was wrong, I would pretty much whole-heatedly disagree, even if they were popular.

    My thing is that I'm not afraid of other people.
    If they don't believe what I believe, that's fine. But don't disrespect people, or act better than anybody else. That's a quick way to get on my bad side.
