Isn't it ironic that people think their life has no impact on anyone else's life, and then when they kill themselves it actually has a big impact on someone else?
I don't mean that in a disrespectful way or anything; I was just thinking.

There will always be some kind of ulterior motive for doing good. But I guess that's better than going no good at all.

    I like this journal. =]

Should we not do good here and now, in this life simply to insure that future generations have a life easy, good and worthwhile?

That line stuck out in my mind.

    Just, wow.

I have to agree with you on all of this. A fourteen year-old girl ending her life is heart breaking; she might not think that she has no impact on the people around her, but that impacted me. No one should ever have to end their own life. No one should have to make the "great escape", to take the coward's way out.

I don't believe in the afterlife; well, I wish there was one, but I won't let my mind linger on it. Thinking that this is your only life makes you appreciate it more, makes you want to live it to the fullest. When you fill it with love and smiles, as cheesy as that sounds, you can't possibly make it any better.

Thanks so much for posting this.
