Trust me, you won't be the only one wallowing on Valentines Day. It's a dark day for a lot of us.
And I get where you're coming from with the best friend's situation. I've had something similar happen to me.
It's horrible, and screws with your mind.
We're just going to get all dressed up and then watch horror movies that involve people who're in love getting tortured.
I would say you're welcome to join us, but you're in a different country. That sort of makes the invitation invalid. Sorry.
