Being a guy, I've had the same experience many times. You're just struggling to get over her and you're being a little extreme in doing so.
Obviously you still care about her but you just have to focus on a new love for you to care about. If you can't find one of those soon look after a dog and dote on that until you find a lady or a lad if your into that. Hope that helped.
