DUDE! I'm a f*cking ginger kid! Who is what some jerk in my school calls 'emo'. Not to mention I'm also Jewish. You're gonna get sh*t wherever you go in life. Especially in school. You are what you are and you can't change that much.
You can change your style, your friends, your school. But you can't change your roots nor your skin color without being Micheal Jackson.
A kid in my school is also half black but has pale skin. And he's on the chubby side. Yet no one I know makes fun of him because he is okay with what he is and he doesn't care.

Look, I get what you're saying very well. It just so happens everyone who believes that racism is wrong also is a big fat hypocrite. I'm sorry but its true and whoever denies it is just making themselves out to be an even bigger hypocrite. Its funny because African Americans always preach about equal rights and all this but in the end they themselves still make racist comments against other races and one can't help but think; "Practice what you preach." or "Treat others how you would like to be treated." In reality all races do this. They say one thing and do another. I lived in a predominantly African American neighborhood before I know what its like and I'm Mexican. They don't like us either but that still doesn't mean that I'm gonna go spreading a bunch of bull about their race because HELLO wake up everyone we're all human beings. We are ONE RACE. Jewel Nicole something i should have put in the journal is that i have always been picked on for being the white girl so maybe i was a little prejudiced but i know without a doubt she was too and it most likely will never stop but that doesn't make it right

Though you deleted her comment, I'm with Audrey T. on this one. High school kids are obnoxious prats that will pick on anyone because that's their nature. You're really jumping the gun by going straight to "racist!" with this one. You think that simply because she's black, her actions were driven by race, and that in itself is a bit racist.

Well, it's true. There is only the human race, and it's been scientifically proven that all human beings, no matter where they are from, share around 99.9% of the same genetic code with each other.

Race exists only as a social construct, and it's pretty sad how that's affected us throughout our existence.

Yea bugs me too. That's why I put that I rather not answer for school and stuff that asks me. I don't see how it helps anyone at all, then they all say "Everyone is equal" well what happened to the other side of the minority spectrum.
Worse is the fact that if you are the slightest bit pale, you can't say anything about Latinos, Jews or black people......I'm with you.

I'm mixed, half black, half white, and so are a lot of kids at my school. Do we get shit off of black people? YES. So you shouldn't think it's just white kids getting picked on by black people. Everyone is up for grabs, everyone is a target, that's life. I'm over it, let them say whatever they want. Because in the end it just makes them look stupid.

All because 100's of years ago people that I don't even know, made Africans that black people don't even know slaves. I'm not saying slavery is right because it's not. But get over it, your not a slave and you don't know anyone who ever was.

And I'm going to have to agree with what Audrey T said. You're blaming the girls race for her behavior instead of her character. That's prejudice right there, so, in my opinion, you're just as guilty as her. (If she was even being prejudiced, because you still don't know what exactly she was laughing about.)
