Them Veggies - Comments

  • I'm vegan! My favorite vegan substitute for something non-vegan... I'm not sure whether it's the processed "cheese" slices my gf's mom found or Follow Your Heart's vegan cream cheese. I'm also ridiculously fond of vegan "sausage".

What's really funny is when omnivores tell us vegans are preachy and then they get preachy about meat-eating. (Also, you should definitely google "Defensive Omnivore Bingo.")

  • They get annoyed because they perceive vegans/vegetarians as acting as morally superior I'm-better-than-you types. Which is a fault. Maybe some people do that, I wouldn't be surprised. But then again other people certainly act like that towards vegetarians because they think they're superior because they eat meat. There's abuse on both sides.

Personally I don't really think it's anyone else's business. It's a dietary choice, I'm not going to judge anyone for it. It doesn't bother me either way. Unless someone wants to start on me first, in which case I'd tell them to get tae fuck. I really like to think most people don't care unless someone provokes them first.

  • I used to be vegetarian for 3 years. I know what you're probably thinking "You suck" considering I said "used" but no, seriously, I miss it. Alot. I hate eating meat. But I have to or else I'm fucking up my body. But I eat as little as possible.

Enjoy being vegetarian or vegan. But yeah, Quorn was pretty nice. And I never did understand people who thought vegetarians or vegans were annoying.

I'm going to check that "Vegans against PETA" out.

  • Meat eaters think that we vegans and vegetarians (I be vegan y'all!) are self rightechous (wow I butchered that spelling) and complete elitists. But for real, you think that having the power to not feel bad about eating meat makes you think that you're an okay person?

Okay, so I'm a little self-rightcheous (again, bad spelling). But I

And my favorite alternative vegan product is Miso Mayo (vegan mayonnaise). Vegan bacon is pretty bomb too :)
