How do you get big on Mibba? Publication? [Plus questions and comment swap] - Comments

3. Jinxeh, Audrey T., Sardonic Grin, and (when she was still here) Dancing Caveman. They always wrote intelligent/fun journals about their days with a good length to keep me entertained. I'm a major journal lurker, and seeing journals with 101 words about pimping stories, comment swaps, and/or questions just saddens my needy eyes. :( They don't do that that often.
4. I never really was good enough of a writer to put out more than two or (at the max) three chapters for each story before I deleted it, so I never really had time to gain serious readers.

I don't really think being big on here is even important. People who come here for that just shouldn't. Writing should be what counts on here. :)

It's more or less just becoming a familiar face no one is really famous they are just the regulars who are friends and familiar with other regulars and then the new people are like oh wow people know them. And then the regulars just know each other by getting use to each other being around a lot...

If that makes sense, then there are the people who become well known through other peoples publicity and writing alone (like charmedluna), or migrated from other sites and brought their fan base with them.

People get big by pimping their stories out. Being well-known also helps, if you're active on parts of the forums and in the journals.

Also, slash books do get published, yes. I don't know about the hardcore slash, but Barnes and Noble have guy/guy and girl/girl books.

Slash do get published. There's a section in Barnes and Nobles.

Honestly, getting "Big" on this website is just...Idk it's not really important. I mean having a lot of friends is cool, but writing is more imporant. If you wanna be known just write your way...
