God doesn't intercept in free will, and He doesn't cause diseases or cancer. He does, however, use even the deepest form of tragedy to change lives. Take my dad for example; he died last October. For months I questioned why that had to happen, what I did wrong. It took a while, but I realized that God wasn't to blame. Nature took it's course, and man did what man wanted to do. But God also showed me that if dad wouldn't have died, I wouldn't have ever really believed in God in the first place. It's never God's fault, but He will take care of the situation. Either to your benefit, or the other's benefit.
