MY WORLD IDEAS - Comments

  • When I said that. I was NOT trying to be discompassionate to the teachers. All of the stuff you two suggested is tru and i've seen it done. But, I mean the thing I have heard on more than one occasion, especially with the older teachers is how they don't completely know the material as well. what I was trying t get at is that the teachers know the subject and are able to teach it. I know about behaviors and I do know about what teachers do at home for their students. i have 2 aunts and an uncle who are teachers. Luckily they haven't been let off like others. I know how they have to stay up later if that want to plan an activity and such that isn't already within the curiculum or budget.

    Sorry to irritate you guys.

  • I disagree with you on the teacher part. I agree with Redundance. Besides it is not the teachers who need to be trained, it is the teens who need to learn how to act like a mature teenager. Not sure what school you go to, but at my old school, teens would pull out their phone to text, turn around to talk to their friends, walk out of class and just disrupt the class and anyone who actually wanted to learn.

Not the students are not completely at fault here because I have seen some push over teachers and teachers with teaching meothds that were difficlt for me to get, but they took the time to better explain the problem

  • Teachers are people who went through way too much school, and get paid way too little for dealing with bratty high schoolers all day. Instead of them making your life easier, why don't you make theirs easier. Do you know how much time they spend out of school doing work they don't get paid for??

    Cut them some slack.
