Losing sight of naivety. - Comments

    Sometimes I wish I were your age, but I know I'll wish I was thirteen again when I do grow up.

    petite chaton;

    Thank you. I feel like I still have a lot of growing up to do, and a lot of things to discover about the world around me. Finding a place to fit in would be amazing right now.

  • I read this and I thought you were about my age or older... you're right when you say you're older than everyone else. But don't worry, you'll find your place eventually. I've felt older than everyone since I was about 8 years old, because I had to look after my mum and my dad was gone. I used to get so badly bullied but guess what?
    Now I'm at college, and I'm the youngest in the class, everyones about 20-30, but I fit in so well, I've finally found somewhere I fit in.
    So don't worry, one day you'll find your place. It does suck to lose the naivety, but there is still beautiful things in life and you have to find them (:

  • I know what you mean. I'm the exact same way. When I was a little girl, I used to always make my Barbies 16 or 17 years old, but now that I'm pretty much there, I want those years back when I didn't know all the icky stuff that society throws at us, the politics, the future.
