  • 7 is meant to be 8, 6 is meant to 7. Plus I think abortion should stay legal for certain reasons

  • 1. Pro-life.
    2. Every child deserves a chance at life.
    3. I would still give birth to it. I would love it all the same.
    4. I would do everything I could for my child.
    5. I won't judge her decision.
    6. I think it should be illegal, yes. However, I don't make the laws and I don't judge people who get abortions.
    7. It's legal.
    8. Yes.

  • 1. Depends
    2. well if they weren't safe they shouldn't abort the baby, but if the child was going to suffer horribly or if it was rape. I know it sounds awful to say It's okay to abort if It was rape but the woman could have a breakdown and be haunted by It
    3. If they can live a comfortable life I wouldn't want them to suffer through life
    4. no idea
    5. justified
    6. hmm
    7. I don't think so

  • 1. Pro-choice
    2. Because of the exact fact that a kid can come out wrong like that. That's one of the many.
    3. If they couldn't live correctly, I would chose quality over quanity. And if they would have no quality, I would give them no quanity.
    4. I think I'd get rid of it. That's just depressing, and I couldn't do that to my child.
    5. Justified.
    6. Legal.
    7. Sorta.
    8. Probably.

  • 1. Definitely pro-choice.
    2. Quite frankly, I think it's unfair for people to tell someone they have to have a child, especially considering people who can't afford raising a child for eighteen years. It's unfair on the parent/s and the child.
    3. If the child could lead a comfortable life, I would probably keep it. If the child would be in pain and have a poor quality of life, I can't say that I would keep it.
    4. Well, I presume that the disease was not pick up on the fault of the obstetrician, and yes, I would probably question their practice, especially if the disease was easily picked up on.
    5. I suppose she is, I mean, raising a child (to a fifteen year old girl) seems like one of the most difficult jobs, made only more difficult by diseases, and it's unfair on the child if you can't provide for it.
    6. Absolutely legal. Some may say that if the parent/s can provide for it et cetera, they should be made to have the child, but could you imagine being the child that no one wanted?
    7. I think so. Although, I've never had to know, and for that, I am thankful.
    8. Yes.

  • 1. Um, I'm both...
    2. I wouldn't ever have one myself, I don't think, because that's not for me, but how can I condemn what another woman wants to do with HER body? Ya know?
    3. Well, I think I would still have it. I mean, I was blessed with a wonderful family, and I know any of them would help me if I needed it.
    4. That's really tough.
    5. No, I think she's justified. The doctors can do these tests, and in some cases, they should.
    6. As it now. If you go changing things, you're going to have people doing illegal abortions or going to some other country to have it done.
    7. Yes.
    8. Yes, and she was really young when she had it done, but also, the baby was making both of them sick. I don't really know what happened with that one, but she has a healthy baby boy now.

  • 1. Pro choice.
    2. It's the woman's body, they can do what they want with it, see if I fucking care.
    3. I wouldn't bring a disabled kid into this world, no way. They'd get teased enough without being - forgive me for saying this - retarded or something.
    4. Probably similar. I'd love the kid and all, but someone's going to pay.
    5. I would do something similar, so I'm going to say that she's justified.
    6. Completely legal. As I said, do what you fucking want.
    7. Legal in some stages, legal for certain occasions in others. I also know that as a South Australian, I can have my little foetus aborted, totally free of charge, but Victorians who cross the border to do the same thing have to pay hundreds of dollars. Oh I love South Australia.
    8. Yeah. Someone I know has had seven. She's just an idiot who needs to learn about condoms though.

  • v. no prob.
    October 6th, 2010 at 02:58pm
  • v True. And totally fair. Thanks :)
    October 6th, 2010 at 02:52pm
  • v. I had forgotten about that! Thanks! Uh, in my opnion then, if she wants to abort the baby, then she should be able to. And then the rapist needs to go to jail. But in some cases, what if she doesn't want to give up the baby once she got raped? It's possible. I'm not trying to start a debate either, but, some people might want to keep the baby no matter what!
    October 6th, 2010 at 02:46pm
  • v I'm not trying at all trying to start a debate, but it's more of an inquiry about your opinion.

But what if a girl is raped, then it's in no way her fault she's pregnant. How do you feel about that?
    October 6th, 2010 at 02:43pm
  • 1. I'm for life. Theres no question about it
    2. you had the sex! you should know what the consequences are people! My parents are for life, and I guess I am too, because the fetus is a living thing, it dreams and plays inside of the mother before it is born...it's alive from the beginning
3.I would have it! It might be frusterating to raise it, but I would totes still have it and just get some help and do research
    4. I'd take her to the hospital and try to get some help, or try to make the pain go away with love
5.....greedy.....well, in a way, she's kind of doing it out of love for her daughter! She wants to beable to provide for her!
    6. completely illegal. It's murder. Well, legal in some cases. Because, if a 12-14 year old got pregnant, she probably can't physically give birth to the baby in some cases, so then, they should be able to a) abort it or b)transfer it into a make-shit womb (incubator)
    7. kind of...
    8.nope!

  • 1. Pro-Choice
    2. Because it's simply wrong to say what you can, and can't do with your body. I would rather a woman have an abortion, then bring a baby riddled with a life time of disease into the world.
3.If I figured I just could not take care of it, I would abort it.
    4. -
    5. Justified, for sure!
    6. I think we should be more open to them. A women gets an abortion and suddenly she's a murderer.
    7. It's legal, but it's frowned upon.
    8. My mothers had three.
    October 6th, 2010 at 02:34pm
  • 1. I guess it depends on the situation, but I'm mainly pro-choice.
    2. Because I think it would be better for the baby to have a mother that actually wants him/her and is ready to raise a baby.
    3.
    4.
    5.
    6. The rules about abortion in Norway are pretty good.
    7. Yeah.
    8. Yeah.
    October 6th, 2010 at 12:42pm
  • 1. Pro-choice.
    2. It's the woman's body, it's her decision.
    3. If I could care for it, I'd raise it. If not, I'd find an adoptive home for the child. I'd never be able to get an abortion.
    4. To tell you the truth, I'm not really sure.
    5. That depends on if she'd really spend the money on her daughter or not.
    6. Completely legal. As stated above, I believe its the woman's choice.
    7. I do.
    8. Yes.
    October 6th, 2010 at 12:11pm
  • 1. In the gray area.
    2. I don't believe in abortion as a form of birth control; but I think it's acceptable if the girl was raped, or if the baby will die/have a deadly disease. Besides, it's not my body; it's just inside of me.
    3. I would raise it.
    4. I would probably do the same.
    5. I wouldn't know, but I think it is justified.
    6. Only legal in come cases. Just because some women are irresponsible.
    7. Completely legal ._.
    8. I hope not.
    October 6th, 2010 at 11:46am
  • 1. Pro choice.
    2. Every woman has their own right to do what they want to their body.
    3. If I had the money, and a safe shelter, I would take care of it.
    4. Don't know.
    5. Well, she does need the money to raise the child. If she didn't have the money, she couldn't raise, making her child many with an unfit parent.
    6. What they are now; legal.
    7. Obviously.
    8. I do.

  • Im pro - life (sort of) i just think its wrong for abortions and if I ever had a kid with a disability I would do as much as I can to help that child but the only time I would have an abortion or in my case get my wife/girlfriend to have an abortion was if the baby was born in a vegative state then I guess i would also I think that it is the choice of both the parents not just the mother or the father

Im not sure whether charlottes mum is being justified or greedy i suppose it depends on whether she does actually spennd the money on charlotte
I also think that it should only be legal in serious cases Like being born in a vegative state for the rest of their life

In the UK I think youre not allowed abortions after something like 24 weeks but even then its too old becuase the bab y start developing a brain and arms and legs etc. but im not sure so dont moan if its wrong
I do know someone who had an abortion and she used the excuse that she was too oyoung to have a baby and cope (she was 16) but another friend of mine is 15 and has a baby who is 5 months and she copes fine But i dont see how people can get pregnant and yet kill it if you didnt want it use contreception

Oh yes heres a useful bit in the UK Before abortions were legalised women sed to go to dodgy doctors and have it done being charged at absurd rates or they would do it them selves :)

    good luck

  • 1. Pro-choice.
    2. Because it's every persons right to decide what happens to their body.
    3. As long as the baby could still have a life, I'd have it.
    4. -
    5. -
    6. As they are now.
    7. Yes.
    8. Yes.
