I totally agree with unicorn, though. I mean, it's always nice to have someone tell your lovely.. or something, but still, ya know? I wouldn't go out with someone who hurt me that badly, if I were you.

I think you shouldn't go out with him.
If he hurt you so badly before, it's not always a good decision to go back out again. He might hurt you again.
And of course you were flattered, even if my exes called me beautiful I would still probably be flattered.
