I have a "friend" who is similar: he makes me feel bad because I don't like the same things he does and he points out my flaws or differences and tries to change them. I have been wanting to end our friendship for a while now even though we have been friends for 15-ish years in counting.
He talks about guys all the time and he likes to brag about the ones he's slept with (Including my ex) and if I try to come with my problems most of the time he doesn't listen or goes back to talking about guys.
Lately I've stepped back from him and it seems to have worked a lot. I try to busy myself so I'm not having to be around him; when he texts I don't respond and when he calls I let it go to voice mail. I started getting back into writing so I would always have something to do. I hope this helps some....
