It all depends on you. You can make the difference. You can change your life. You don't have to live the way your parents did and react toward you.

Honestly, I think you need to breakaway. As much as you may care for your mom, her bipolar tendencies will not be a good influence on you. Just take in the negative that they do toward you and turn it around as a guideline on what not to do when you have your own family and your choice in a husband.

My dad is so insecure that he has to have me walk him to the door when he goes to work then he hugs me and says "love you." every time he leaves the f*cking house its really annoying, and he I'm like 18 and he is trying to tuck me in bed.

I used to get beat a lot as child but only cause he drank a lot my mom, I mean it'd be nice to have a picture perfect life but I doubt it'd be what you are thinking it'd be.

I don't want it to sound like I'm rubbing your nose in it, but my parents tells me they love me several times a day. So I have no idea what you feel, but I will say this; If you wish for your mother to be more of a mother, you should ask her to be. But your parents mistakes can not determine how you raise your children. Wether your youth tells you what not to do, or what to do like mine. I hope you have a suburban life, and have six kids!
