Unlike what a lot of people believe, twins are often total opposites. They may look the same, or not, but usually their personalities aren't the same.
Not saying that's how it's with you though. (: I don't think you should let what she said bother you, you'll probably encounter a lot of people like this.

I am a twin and go through this all the time!!! Except im more like your sister and MY sister is more like you. Haha We are total opposites in some areas and totally alike in others, Im sure the same applies to you two. I find it kind of fun to do things people dont expect me to do. I like to shock people, like at school this guy expects me to be sooo quiet i am totally not! So he made a comment about me "being quiet all the time" So i talked lol it was funny
