All writers don't just start out amazing. One of my best friends and I would write all the time (she began as my inspiration for writing). We were the same age, but she was so much better than I was, so I worked at it. I kept writing, even if it was bad, and looked at things I could improve on. Keep your eye open to new ideas and you'll definitely become better.

By worthwhile, they mean it can't be spam. Like, it can't be gibberish and it can't be chain letters. You know? As long as you can type 100 words, it's a worthwhile entry.

Maybe you aren't good now, but you'll never improve if you don't try. You need to work to improve. Trust me, when I started writing, I was awful. But I've gotten much better because I worked hard on my stories and learned lots. You've got to try in order to get better.
