Be Yourself? I can't. You won't let me - Comments

  • Your hair, you clothes and your piercings are not who you are, no matter how much it seems like it. You're fourteen years old, your parents have a right to say no to certain things. She's only trying to protect you.

I'm not saying she's always right in saying no, I'm just saying that she's only looking out for you. You should probably censor your profanity also as its against the rules.

Try talking to your parents about this but you have to understand they have the final authority and as their daughter its their job to protect you. You may not be grateful for it now, but when you're older and you start thinking maybe you didn't want those snakebites after all, maybe you will be? [Not me saying you'll regret it, me saying you've got a long time ahead of you to live with decisions that you'll think differently about as situations change]

  • I am seeing death around the corner.
I see the cops behind me . . . and before I get caught -- before they bury me, as soon as I hit the sale, I shall be bailing out.

Money gone, fuck friends . . . I need a homie that knows me when all these motherfuccking cops be on me.
I've got problems - ain't nobody calling back, NOW WHAT THE FUCCK, is happening with my ballercats?

Throw up your middle finger if you feel me.

  • Angry journal is angry. ): </3

I understand where your parents are coming from, I guess. They seem moderately protective. Examples: the hair thing? They probably don't want you to regret it later. The boy thing? They probably don't want to see you hurt, because let's face it: most boys hurt girls. In a way, I'm kind of jealous that you have such caring parents, aha.

Just keep your head up, watch your language (at least here, aha), and I'm sure you'll find a spot where the both of you - you and your parents - can agree on something that equals in the both of you being happier with one another. (:
