I'm doing a story on mibba right now on the four elements I hope to publish it one day...), so I can help you with that, at least! :)
Water aside from being rain, ice, the sea and so forth is attributed to emotions (those of others, and their own) and the subconscious mind (psychic stuff as well). (associated with Archangel Gabriel, water is feminine)

Fire is... well fire. Also associated with passion, renewal and creativity (Archangel Michael, masculine)

Earth embodies the physical world, fertility, the family and the home are also associated with it. (Archangel Uriel, earth is feminine)

Air is logic, it's the concious mind (thinking), free moving, fond of travel and socialising. It can't be trapped either. (Archangel Raphael, masculine element)

There's also ether (or void) referring to the exchange mechanism between the material universe and spirit. Not one of the traditional elements.

(Though do try to put some original twists into you witches, angels and omens, please?^^ (I'm not saying you wouldn't, just that I've seen the same things sooo many times...))

I have a book on All Angels, and I have the Angelic Alphabet :D . I just need to know the names and what they're attributed to. And getting others to give information means I can take bits from all types to make my own :) xox

Well Angels are complicated. It depends on what set of lore you want to go under. i honestly too what I could find on angels and started twisting it. You can do a google search and get plenty on angels.

And Cain and Abel is basically: They were brothers. Abel cared for the livestock and Cain for the plants. Their parents were Adam and Eve the first man and woman. Well it came time to give a sacrifice of the first fruits of the harvest. And Abel killed and sacrificed the best of the lambs. Cain kept the best of the harvest for himself and gave God what was second. Abel was praised and Cain became jealous. So Cain called his brother out to the field one day and killed him and hid his body. God called to Cain and asked him where is brother was. Cain replied: Am I my brother's keeper? And God told him that he knew what he had done and that Abel's blood cried out to him from the earth. From that day forward, Cain was to be cursed and would wander the earth unable to plant and harvest or be with his family. Cain said that people would kill him, and God said that they would not and he put a mark on Cain so that anyone who killed him would be cursed. And so Cain was banished from amongst his own and he had a brother named Seth who was born in place of Abel to give comfort to his family.
